Steve Willsey - Indiana Personal Injury Attorney

Steve Willsey Indianapolis Auto Accident Attorney

Steven E. Willsey

For 23 years, I have devoted my practice exclusively to representing people injured by the negligence of another. The fundamental philosophy of my practice is that I treat each client the exact way that I would want to be treated if I were injured by someone else’s negligence. I have represented over 1500 injured victims over the past 23 years. I limit my number of cases so that I can remain personally involved in each and every case. I have found in my practice that a recovery is maximized only after a lawsuit is filed, and depositions are taken. Often a case will not settle until trial is near. Therefore, each and every case involves a substantial amount of work to maximize the recovery. I have two excellent legal assistants, Heather Dunbar and Michele Rogers, who assist me in gathering documents so that I can be prepared to settle the case at mediation or present the evidence at trial if the case does not settle. We are conscientious and care deeply for our clients treating them as if they were family.

I have been given the highest rating by the only recognized, reliable rating service, Martindale-Hubbell. My AV-rating is a rating given to me by other lawyers in the Indianapolis Metropolitan area. The AV peer review rating is defined as follows, “An AV-rating is a significant accomplishment-a testament to the fact that a lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence."

My wife and I are members of Community Church of Greenwood where we have served in the capacities of flock leaders and ushers. I served my community for years coaching youth sports in the Center Grove Community.

In the 1980’s I was a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. At that time my daily activities consisted of trying to locate and apprehend bank robbers and fugitives.

I attended Perry Meridian High School where I played varsity basketball and football. I then went on to play basketball at Wabash College.
